Carla Fenn, owner of Cross My Heart Scent Company LLC, began making aroma bead car fresheners in her kitchen in the spring of 2019. What started out as a hobby soon proved to be so much more with the support and encouragement from her family, friends, and loyal customers. In the spring of 2021, Carla made the choice to step away from her career as a middle school math teacher to pursue growing her business full time. The expansion included adding online sales, wholesale orders, fundraisers, and attending vendor events. In March of 2022, she was able to move her business out of her home and into a small production facility. Then in January of 2023 Cross My Heart Scent Company moved to its current location which now includes a storefront for both retail and wholesale customers! Feel free to go visit Carla and her husband, Chris (who has become her co-owner and right hand man!) at the shop which is located at 1102 N Main in their hometown of Cleburne, Texas.

Why the name Cross My Heart? If you will take a good look at the logo, you will see that the crossed heart is actually the initials "CF" standing for the names of owners Chris and Carla Fenn. In addition, the cross and heart are symbols that are very meaningful to the couple depicting their love of Jesus Christ for without HIM none of this would be possible. You will even find a Bible verse on your freshie bag!

Carla is pictured below in her booth at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas. The couple can be found there on the first Monday weekend of each month in Pavilion 4000 in Booth #'s 4232-33. If you are in the area, they would love for you to stop by and visit with them!
